Who We Are 

I wanted to create a place where we are one, people and our animalkin.  For all my life I have been blessed with knowing myself as animal and this is a spiritual blessing.  But it is a mixed blessing, because I am acutely and viscerally attuned to their suffering, not just the big and obvious ways but all the micro-harms they endure.

My life as a human has been a fraught quest to find my way back to wholeness, to overcome the loss of my soul, the rupture of my psychological health and the spiral into the void.

I have discovered  the place and a way of being that I believe is the birth right of all beings,  and I've called it the Wild Heart.  I've learned from the indigenous people of Turtle Island that words confine us. Our Western paradigm closes off knowingness - a state in which we are in an experience, a state of being that defies the confinement of words.   So I make no attempt to define the Wild Heart, it has to be experienced.
